Dyslexia Services

Brazos School for Inquiry and Creativity (BSIC) employs an amazing team of Dyslexia Facilitators who strive to provide the very best reading support services for students with dyslexia. We use a dyslexic platform approved by TEA which utilizes multi-sensory materials to enhance student’s phonemic awareness and skills. BSIC follows the state mandated screening requirements to test all first grade students by the end of January and all kindergarteners during or before May of the current school year. Early discovery can enable our dyslexic facilitators to provide timely supports that will strengthen a student’s academic potential in their lifetime. Parents are invited to reach out in order to maintain open communication with our campuses. If a parent has a concern about his or her student possibly having dyslexia, then tell the Principal or the Special Education Director in writing.
