This does not mean you should not be exercising your mind. In these months of summer vacation try to do some activities that will keep your mind sharp and ready for the next school year.

The Public Library

Our Public Library is a great source of activities! They offer programs for children and teen/tweens. Activities for Children range from Family Movie night to a TAMU Chemistry Road Show. While teens have activities such as Anime Club to learning how to Code. Make sure to check it out! Some activities have limited space so check out the dates and make sure you have a space!

P.S. Make this the summer you learn a new language! The library is offering a service called Pronunciator that allows you to learn a new language for FREE! Say goodbye to those subtitles!

P.S.S. Want to create a comic book or write a book this summer? The library is holding a 8-week program to get you started and finished. You can have your work published by the end of the summer. Check out the flyer to learn more, and make sure to sign up ASAP!

If you find yourself in YouTube this summer, which I'm sure you will, check out this channel. They offer quick, fun crash courses of different subjects. Learn everything from the ground up!
