Kimberly Harvison

Hello! Panther Parents and Students,

Welcome to Kindergarten, PreK3 and PreK 4 Virtual Online Learning!

My name is Kimberly Harvison and this has been an amazing year and journey since becoming a part of the BSIC family in August 2019. I am your child's Virtual Online teacher for the 2020-2021 school year! This job and position has truly been a blessing in my life and I could've asked for a better team to work with. Teaching has been an absolute passion of mine. It is my pleasure to not only teach your child but have the opportunity to build an open, honest, respectful and ongoing relationship with some amazing parents. This school year I can say will start off a little challenging but as we transitioned throughout the year and have gotten comfortable with our new changes, this will be a  fun, learningful, and adventurous time with Virtual Learning .

Despite all that we are currently facing, this will continue to be a great year and we will get through this together.  I believe in having a positive open communication policy in order, to ensure every parent is on board with what's going on in the classroom, virtually and discuss any questions. My job at BSIC is to make sure your child succeeds at their highest potential in all areas of learning development.

A Little Bit About Your Teacher

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and grew up the only child. I am a proud mother of two amazing kids, Edwin Jr. 5 years and Londyn 10yrs and a dedicated wife to my husband , Edwin, of 4 years. I have  over 15 years teaching experience, starting as a substitute teacher for Aldine ISD , various years in childcare centers as a Kindergarten Teacher and leaving that field to become a Kindergarten teacher for AVANCE Head Start in 2014-2019 . I graduated from University of Houston Main Campus with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.I am currently seeking out to obtain my Masters in Education Administration or Elementary Education.

Again, I am so happy that we will be able to see each other soon!!!!  Please let myself or Mrs. Renteria (The BEST, cheerful, fantastic, always smiling TA) know how you and your family are doing and if we could support and assist you in anyway. You may also message Mrs. Renteria via email if I can't get to you fast enough.

Thanks again,

Mrs. Kimberly Harvison
